Choose between our Cruisin' US 66, US Highway 66 Main Street of America and Rootie™ designs! Our tees are comfortable cotton (100% or very close to it). The Cruisin’ and Highway 66 tees have silk-screening on both sides. The Rootie design has screening just on the front. Rootie tees are also available in kids’ sizes.

The Cruisin' US 66 design has on the front left chest a Mother Road "Get Your Kicks" mock license plate. On the back is the outline of the US with all 8 states listed beneath. The lettering style of the states is reminiscent of that found on stamped metal highway shields and license plates. Shirt color choices are white, ash gray, or black. Please note that the license plate on the front may be in either blue or black ink when reproduced on white or ash gray shirts, blue or magenta when printed on black shirts. The Highway 66 T-shirts are available in three versions - natural/undyed, black, and black with a front pocket. The tees have a simplified version of the logo on the front while the full logo appears on the back. Black silk-screening ink is used on the natural tee; white ink on the black tees.

Rootie™ is a trademarked creation of Route 66 artist, author, and photographer Jerry McClanahan. If you own the Map Series or the EZ66 Travel Guide (both of which are sold here), then you are familiar with Jerry's fun and amazing art. Our adorable tee shows Rootie on the road with his two pets - Route Dawg and Kixxie Kat. Fins Fargo, his car, is equally revved up to be on a Route 66 road trip. As you can see, they are all having a great time. These tees are the first Rootie shirts available to the general public. Up until now, Rootie has only made appearances on limited-quantity, special-event shirts. Rootie tees are available in white adult sizes, and yellow or blue kids’ sizes. The adult shirts feature the full 6-color version of the design while the children’s shirts show the design as a black outline.

Despite the use of pre-shrunk cotton, some shrinkage may occur due to the high cotton content of the shirts. See washing tips on the Apparel page. Tees are silk-screened by Impact Screenprinting, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
