Ordering Product via mail

If you don’t want to use the online shopping cart system, please click on the order form link at the bottom of the website page, print it out, and use it to send an order via regular mail. Make your check or money order payable to Anderson Productions and mail it and the order form to Anderson Productions, PO Box 3461, Edmond, OK, 73083. The Post Office box is checked about once a week. Don't forget to add shipping! Oklahoma residents must add tax of 8.375% to the items.

Ordering through the mail is only good for those folks with a U.S.-based checking account. We cannot handle foreign money orders or checks from foreign banks - even if they are in U.S. dollars. Customers living outside of the United States should use the online shopping cart system.

Shipping/Handling Fees

Because of the diverse product line offered, there is not an easy way to come up with precise shipping and handling costs. So we’ve adopted a scale based on the dollar amount purchased. Realizing this is an imperfect solution, if what you are charged is way over the actual costs, you will be refunded the appropriate amount, after the product has shipped.

Our shipping/handling fees include the actual postage or shipping costs (U.S. customers - items are sent Priority Mail; International customers - whichever method is affordable within the pricing structure), the shopping cart and payment processing fees charged to us, plus possibly some additional costs.

For example, as of 2010, US Priority Mail starts at 4.90 – and that’s just for a simple, very small flat-rate envelope, the cheapest Priority rate there is. But since not every item will fit in flat-rate packaging, actual postage costs are then determined by zip code and weight, which is impossible to determine in advance because of the wide variety of products and product combinations possible. To confuse things further, the shopping cart system (Shopify) and the payment-processing house (PayPal) each charge a percentage plus a flat per transaction fee to handle the order. So these are the kinds of costs that determine the shipping/handling fees. Other contributing costs might include any box costs (if not using US Mail-provided Priority boxes), additional packing materials, etc.

Again, if it turns out you are charged way over the actual costs, you will be refunded the appropriate amount, which will vary with each order. It’s the only way we can be fair to you.

Overseas ordering and shipping; different sizing systems

We welcome orders from our friends outside of the U.S. However, we cannot handle inquiries in any language other than English - sorry!

When we ship your order, we are required to fill out a customs form. So be aware you will probably have to pay additional duties or custom fees imposed by your country when you pick up/receive your item.

If you are ordering items to be used on your 66 trip, you might consider having us ship your items to your first hotel/motel stop that you will make in the States, or to a stateside friend. That way your shipping costs are cheaper and you avoid any customs fees.

European, Japanese, and Australian clothing-size nomenclature varies from what is used in North America. We've tried to come up with a clothing conversion chart but have not been very successful - largely because even within the USA there is a lot of disagreement. However, we're happy to email you what we've put together - just let us know: cruisinroute66@hotmail.com

Better yet, if you are uncertain what size to order, measure something similar of your own and email us the measurements. We'll do the same on our end, and together we'll figure out what size you should order.

Backorders/Out of Stock

We try to keep items in stock, but sometimes we run out of a particular size or color. It can take up to 8 weeks to get new stock in. If you order something that is out of stock and that we intend on getting more of, you will be notified and given the choice to either cancel the order or keep the order active and wait for the new stock to come in

Exchanges

If you want to exchange a product for something different, you will need to contact us first, then ship the item back on your dollar. You must also pay for the shipping of the new item, and any difference in pricing if the new item is more than the original. If the new item is less than the old, we will refund the difference.

Only if an order was filled out incorrectly will shipping be paid for by us - your shipping to return the item to us (we'll refund/credit the amount) plus the shipping to send you the correct item.

There are no refunds, returns, or exchanges on seconds.

Seconds

There are no refunds, returns, or exchanges on seconds.

Cancellations/Refunds

If you cancel the order before it ships, we will refund the entire amount. But if the order has already shipped, or you change your mind after receiving the order, you will need to return the order on your nickel. We will refund the cost of the order, but not the shipping/handling fees. There are no refunds, returns, or exchanges on seconds.

Turnaround time to send out orders

We strive to get orders out the next business day. All orders are acknowledged via email – once from the automated shopping cart system, a second from Kathy herself. If you do not receive both acknowledgements within 24 hours weekdays, 48 hours weekends, please contact us. Mistakes can happen, and sometimes emails are mysteriously lost down a dark cyberhole never to resurface. Be sure to check your bulk/junk mail folder, in case our acknowledgments landed there.

Ordering a large quantity for a big event?

Do you need to order a large quantity of a particular item or items for a school play, special event, or a tour group? Contact us first and we'll see if we can arrange for a quantity discount. You will have to place your order outside of the website and directly through PayPal - or send a check or money order. Payment will need to be received prior to shipment.

Packaging

We are a very small business. Items are packed as carefully as possible to prevent damage, but are not thermally sealed in plastic bags. Tee shirts are folded and placed in a plastic sack, but will contain wrinkles, as this is the way they arrived from the silkscreener. Pins and keychains are put in small plastic or glassine-like bags - they are not attached to fancy cardboard backers and shrinkwrapped. And so on.

Thank you for understanding, and for your support of this small business!
